Food Standards Agency Recommendations

The consumable products sold are marketed for consumption by mothers, new mothers in particular.  Current recommendations on the Food Standards Agency website confirms that these products are suitable to eat whilst breastfeeding. Mummy's Little Hamper cannot take responsibility for any illness suffered whilst eating the products sold in the gift packages. All perishable products will be delivered in packaging designed to keep the goods fresh/frozen for 24 hours.

Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your order prior to delivery please do so in writing or via email within 24 hours or before 12pm on the Wednesday or Thursday it is due to be dispatched.

Distance Selling Act: Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after receipt of goods, without giving a reason. Where this right is exercised you will be refunded the full amount minus any perishable goods which cannot be resold and any items which have been consumed. This refund will take place within 30 days. All goods must be returned, or made available for collection, in good condition at your own expense. Notification of cancellation must be in writing - letter or email.

Refund Policy: If, for any reason, any of products do not reach you in satisfactory condition, we will happily replace or refund the items concerned. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and it may be required they be returned to us at our expense before replacement or refund, this being at our option. Returned goods must clearly show the full name and address of the sender.

The Term Hamper: is used in the general sense and refers to any container used in which we pack the products.

Alcohol: It is illegal in the UK to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol. No persons under 18 years of age may place an order with Mummy's Little Hamper if the goods contain alcohol.

Description and Quality: From time to time the pictures or motifs may differ slightly in design or style shown on the website. This is sometimes unavoidable due to the availability from suppliers or manufacturers.  Every effort is made to strictly conform to description and quality, but we reserve the right to substitute any goods which may not be available, for any reason, in which case we are most particular to give equal or better value. If the goods are not available, we may supply the recipient with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.

English Law: The English law is the law to which Mummy's Little Hamper complies. When purchasing goods from Mummy's Little Hamper the customer is entering into a legally binding contract.

Privacy Policy

Payment: Payment via this site is processed by PayPal - therefore Mummy's Little Hamper has no access to or does not store your financial information. Information about PayPal can be viewed at www.paypal.co.uk.   Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full.

Data Protection Act: Mummy's Little Hamper is compliant with the Data Protection Act. We will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent.

When you order, we will receive details of your and the recipients name, address, telephone numbers and email address. This allows us to process and fulfil your order. We will not pass on these details to anyone or any organisation and we will treat these details with complete confidentiality.

We may occasionally send you promotional material relating to Mummy's Little Hamper and its associated businesses only. If you do not wish to receive such material please email info@mummyslittlehamper.co.uk or write to Mummy's Little Hamper, 6 Saxon Grange, South Milford, Leeds LS25 6NQ. Your details will then not be used in any future mailings.
