Delivery Information

Deliveries: Deliveries are made by TNT, the national courier. Deliveries are made on a Thursday (dispatched on Wednesday) and Friday (dispatched on Thursday).  The cost of delivery is added to your payment and is quoted prior to your purchase is completed online.

Carriage prices cover most of the UK. We are currently unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Oban, Northern Ireland, Eire and the Channel Islands. If an order is placed to a destination we do not cover, we will contact you to advise of this and will refund you in full.

All address information must be accurate, including the post code, recipient's telephone number and email address.

FOR NON-PERISHABLE ORDERS Depending on the day the order has been placed, the gift will be dispatched on the next available Wednesday or Thursday of that week.

FOR PERISHABLE ORDERS (For the Foodie and Freezer Filling packages) - Due to the perishable nature of these items it is essential that the delivery is made on the day as requested and a signature must be provided to ensure delivery is made.  We will make contact with the recipient in the first instance to arrange a suitable delivery slot via text message or email (don't worry we won't tell them what the surprise is - just that it is a delivery from Mummy's Little Hamper that is of a perishable nature!). We will notify you (the customer) via email once the delivery slot has been arranged.

If the recipient is not available on the chosen delivery day or must leave the premises for a short period they can leave a note with their signature advising that they agree for the package to be left in a safe place on their premises or the courier will try to leave it with a neighbour. However, if the package cannot be delivered due to failure to obtain a signature the package will be returned to the depot and TNT will await confirmation from the recipient when redelivery can be made. In these circumstances Mummy's Little Hamper cannot accept responsibility for goods that arrive defrosted.

Mummy's Little Hamper cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect.

Packaging: All consumable products are packed in special insulated boxes and dispatched overnight to arrive fresh/frozen on the day of delivery.  This packaging can be recycled.  The outer box is cardboard and can be recycled as usual.  The inner lining and gel packs are made of the same material as carrier bags therefore can be left at recycling centres. The contents of the gel packs can be poured down the drain as it is non-toxic.
